we found that human TM2D3 expressed under the control of endogenous Drosophila amx regulatory elements is capable of rescuing the embryonic neurogenic phenotype, indicating that Amx and TM2D3 are orthologs and have conserved molecular functions in vivo PMID: 27764101
Our molecular data reveal that amx is ubiquitously expressed and encodes a conserved putative transmembrane protein, composed of several domains that are differently required for amx function in the fly. PMID: 18331889
