Target Background

Function

Converts the prephenate produced from the shikimate-chorismate pathway into phenylalanine. Together with GCR1 and GPA1, required for blue light-mediated synthesis of phenylpyruvate and subsequently of phenylalanine (Phe), in etiolated seedlings.
