Description

Polyclonal rabbit anti-Genome polyprotein antibody raised against a recombinant protein containing the 2780-3428 amino acids of the Japanese encephalitis virus Genome polyprotein is recommended to detect the Japanese encephalitis virus Genome polyprotein. This Genome polyprotein antibody was subjected to protein G purification. Two applications ELISA and WB have been used in assays to test for the specificity of this Genome polyprotein antibody.

The genome of the Japanese encephalitis virus encodes a single polyprotein that is processed by both viral and host proteases into three structural proteins (capsid, precursor membrane, and envelope) and seven non-structural proteins (NS1, NS2A, NS2B, NS3, NS4A, NS4B, and NS5). These proteins are involved in various aspects of the viral life cycle, including viral replication, assembly, and release, as well as modulation of host cell responses to infection.
