Target Background

Function

Required for chloroplast division. Regulates FtsZ ring positioning in chloroplasts. Determines the site of chloroplast division in concert with MIND1. Not directly involved in ring formation, but probably required for MIND1 localization to regulate FtsZ ring formation.
