Target Background

Function
Histone acetyltransferase which may be involved in transcriptional activation. Acetylates 'Lys-5' of histone H4 (H4K5ac). Essential for gametophyte development. Involved in DNA repair after UV-B exposure. Negative regulator of flowering controlling the H4K5ac levels in the FLC chromatin.
