  1. Report shows the functional similarities and differences of TAF10 and TAF10b, orthologs of Drosophila melanogaster. In silico modeling suggest that dTAF10 and dTAF10b have similar secondary structures with a histone-fold domain, same interaction partners and similar expression patterns in neuronal tissues. dTaf10 isn't required for morphogenesis, but animals lacking its expression show distorted eye development.
