Description

The rabbit is injected with the recombinant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (strain ATCC 15692 / DSM 22644 / CIP 104116 / JCM 14847 / LMG 12228 / 1C / PRS 101 / PAO1) TOXR protein to trigger an immune response. Following several repeated immune stimulation, the rabbit's immune system produces antibodies against the TOXR protein. After a significant antibody response is generated, a sample of serum is taken to obtain the polyclonal antibodies. The serum, which contains the TOXR antibody, is then subjected to protein A/G affinity chromatography. The effectiveness of the TOXR antibody is assessed in ELISA and WB applications. This antibody is capable of specifically reacting with the Pseudomonas aeruginosa (strain ATCC 15692 / DSM 22644 / CIP 104116 / JCM 14847 / LMG 12228 / 1C / PRS 101 / PAO1) TOXR protein.

The TOXR protein serves as a transcriptional regulator involved in the regulation of various genes and pathways in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, including virulence factors, biofilm formation, and antibiotic resistance. The TOXR protein helps the bacterium adapt to different environmental conditions and enhances its survival and pathogenicity.
