Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Growth factor active on keratinocytes. Possible major paracrine effector of normal epithelial cell proliferation.
Gene References into Functions
  1. The findings of the present study indicated that KGF, CTGF and TGF-beta have biological roles in progression of CsA- and PNT- induced GO. KGF plays a greater role in CsA- induced GO than in PNT- induced GO. Meanwhile, CTGF and TGF-beta play a role in PNT- induced GO greater than in CsA- induced GO. PMID: 26894526
  2. These data demonstrate that administration of MSCs to the inflammation-insulted AT-II cells may ameliorate the impairments through a KGF-dependent PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway. PMID: 27035760
  3. The primary role of both KGF1 and FGF2 appeared to be in the proliferation and migration of keratinocytes PMID: 21136143
  4. KGF may have a role in ameliorating radiation-induced pulmonary injury in rats PMID: 21436609
  5. KGF promotes preadipocyte proliferation by an autocrine mechanism that involves activation of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway PMID: 20069574
  6. Keratinocyte growth factor may promote alveolar epithelial repair through several mechanisms involved in cell migration PMID: 12581741
  7. Decreased gene expression of FGF-7 in the rat hypoplastic lung suggests that pulmonary hypoplasia in nitrofen-induced congenital diaphragmatic hernia rat may be caused by reduced synthesis of FGF-7 during lung morphogenesis. PMID: 12861530
  8. KGF stimulates lipogenesis in alveolar type II cells by a coordinated expression of lipogenic enzymes and transport proteins regulated by C/EBP isoforms and SREBP-1c PMID: 12865412
  9. stimulates migration and hyaluronan synthesis in the epidermis by activation of keratinocyte hyaluronan synthases 2 and 3 PMID: 14506240
  10. Exogenous administered KGF cDNA causes increases in IGF-I, IGF-BP3, FGF, and collagen IV and decreases TGF-beta concentration. KGF gene transfer accelerates wound healing without causing an increase in collagen I or III. PMID: 17292422
  11. KGF improves alterations of lung permeability and bronchial epithelium in allergic rats PMID: 17392324
  12. retention of the AT2 cell phenotype by KGF involves c-Jun and suggest that activation of c-Jun kinase may be an important determinant of maintenance of AT2 cell phenotype PMID: 17872496
  13. FGF-7, most likely through its effect on the vascular bed, is required for normal early postnatal alveolar formation from secondary crests. PMID: 18091341
  14. the effects of KGF on duct cell proliferation are mediated by the MEK-ERK1/2 pathway, while the KGF-induced cell differentiation is mediated by the PI3K/AKT pathway PMID: 19266047
