LGI1

LGI1, or leucine-rich G protein-coupled receptor family member 1, the LGI1 gene is located on human chromosome 10 and encodes a secreted protein expressed in the nervous system.The mechanism of action of LGI1 involves interacting with a variety of ion channels, particularly binding to voltage-gated potassium channels, modulating their function, and influencing neuronal excitability.
